A few weeks ago I invited you to complete a short survey reacting to my 13-week experiment in communication.

Many of you have written to ask, “So, Jim… what did you learn from the survey?” My answer: “A lot, and I’m still processing the 20 pages (!) of narrative you offered in response to the essay questions.”

For the curious and right-brained among you, here is some data:

21% = Active readers who took the survey (pretty good, for busy people!)

76% = Completed full survey, including essay Qs (thank you!)

For now, I am modeling a leadership behavior I encourage in my clients: If you ask people for input, show them how you are using it!
